Our Respite Care is designed to provide an alternative residence for individuals whose caregivers need to take a short break for family, employment or other reasons. During their time at Wayne Woodlands, respite care residents are accorded the same high-quality care as our other residents.
A restorative nursing program offers ambulation and exercises to keep residents active.
Our staff attends to their physical and emotional needs until their caregiver returns. A pre-visit meeting with the caregiver and, if possible, the loved one, is arranged to make sure all needs are met during the loved one’s stay at our home.
